I’m in Los Angeles now. OHARARP sent me a new GPS unit and I’m having a Wunderlich tank bag sent here as well. The new map is progressing, I finally hammered out all of the FreeBSD issues and submitted another patch to Mapnik. The ride was beautiful today, the first dry day of riding in a week. I ate lunch at a place called the Breakfast Buzz in San Luis Obispo and it was exceptional. Highly recommended.

This lovely little coastal town… there, I found peacefulness, surfers, old theaters and railroad tracks, and some memorable local good eats (especially the exceptional tri-tip sandwich at Firestone Grill, you won’t find another that’s nearly as tasty)… then in the summer time, Cal Poly sends chicken shit scented heat waves that plow through the village with the pride of their agriculture department… what a wonderful town!
